Epoxy, Flake, Polysaspartic Floor System in Red Hook, NY

A customer in Red Hook wanted to enhance the look and durability of their garage floor. After an on-site consultation, we chose a flake floor system with an epoxy coating for its strength, visual appeal, and long-term protection.
We began by grinding out all visible concrete cracks and filling them with a fast-curing polyurea. Once cured, the surface was smoothed flush. The entire floor was then diamond-ground to a CSP 2 profile, ensuring optimal adhesion, and vacuumed thoroughly to remove all dust.
We applied an epoxy primer with a built-in moisture vapor barrier at 16 mils, then broadcast decorative flakes to full saturation. To finish, we sealed everything with a polyaspartic topcoat that is UV-stable, stain-resistant, and chemical-resistant.
The end result is a clean, durable, and attractive epoxy-coated floor the customer was thrilled with.
